Ben Godfrey

Ben was born into an artistic family, his parents met at London’s Royal College of Art. His school teacher would often use him to illustrate her lessons on the blackboard, something he claims as an early career move. During his time in England he developed his distinctive street comic style, whilst working for a number of leading illustration and animation studios. His love of drawing monsters and spaceships lead him to work on numerous award winning television commercials, animated films and children’s books.

Now based in Byron Bay Australia, Ben still dreams in cartoons. When he’s not storyboarding, he can be found surfing or on occasion drawing on the local school’s blackboard.
