Lucy Han is an illustrator and graphic designer specialising in sartorial visuals. A graduate of The New York Academy of Art (MFA), her clean sketchbook-style of line drawings are a familiar aesthetic of the 70’s. From street fashion to runway struts Lucy’s illustrations capture a certain swag of fashion, figures and personalities. Using bold simplicity of block colour, pencil line drawing and simple, multiline shading, Lucy’s style is reflective of clothes patterns themselves. Her subtle diversity in composition and mixed media sees her present a passing moment, or capture a glimmer of attitude, well endowed to advertising.
Lucy, a former inhouse graphic designer for Smith and Caughey has a wide client list including La Gent London, Kiehl’s, Women’s Wear Daily, Teen Vogue, Glossier, Ruby & Liam, The Denizen Magazine & Seafarers Club.
