After studying textiles at London College of Fashion and photography at Central St Martins College, Sha first entered the advertising industry as a stylist. Now living in New Zealand she’s returned to her childhood passion of paper cutting. It’s the tactile approach and subtle imperfections that excite her. In using the simplest of materials her organic works provide an antithesis to the digital realm.
Sha creates magical images by interplaying paper form with the depth of silhouette and shadow. She has an exquisite sensitivity to light and line which is perfectly suited to her craft.
