Growing up in the hospitality industry with a well-known chef and food writer father, Alex became fascinated in the way our lives often revolve around food and it’s preparation. He later equipped himself with a Diploma in Photography and Media Arts before working as an agency inhouse photographer and DOP. Now drawing on his studies, industry experience and family roots, Alex brings us a fresh take on food photography.

With a considered yet relaxed approach, Alex enjoys exploring the beauty of combining architecture, space and light; his images often evoking mood and atmosphere. His warm personality, professionalism and passion for photography has awarded him commissions from clients such as Johnnie Walker, Smirnoff, Speights, Steinlager and Wither Hills.
