Component & Gareth Jensen vs pavement art for Expedia Australia

Earlier in the year Ambient Group Sydney called upon pavement art duo (street artist Component and illustrator Gareth Jensen) to create one massive piece of 3D pavement art for travel booking website, Expedia.

The catch being it needed to be rolled out across 3 cities in a week. So with some initial 3D modelling for perspective, the guys hit the studio.

One 8 x 3M canvas, 52 boxes of pastels and a bit of air freight later and Expedia had people on the streets of Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth sitting window seat en-route to the Maldives, NYC, Egypt and India.
