Janine Wareham brightens up our hoods for Z Energy

Z Energy and Auckland agency Shine help bring local New Zealand hoods to life with murals by Janine Wareham. Janine travelled to three suburbs throughout country, Auckland’s Henderson, Wellington’s Newtown and Christchurch’s Moorhouse. Each unique mural was designed to brighten up existing outdoor spaces, providing benefits to the community long after the initial campaign is finished.

The music we love is made up of many influences, including where we live. Tastes and styles shift within communities, cultures and subcultures. In it’s latest campaign, Smirnoff Pure and YoungShand tapped into the unique vibes of New Zealand and set out to help Kiwis discover the music that moves the places we call home. Street artist Component helped kickstart it with a ‘Sounds Like’ inspired mural on the streets of Ponsonby.

Colenso BBDO commissioned still-life photographer Lewis Mulatero to shoot their recent promotional campaign for New Zealand brand Mainland Cheese. 2000-piece jigsaw puzzles were created from Lewis’s stunning close-ups of Brie, Tasty and Blue, underscoring the brand’s tagline ‘Good Things Take Time’.

Murray Crane has recently been appointed a New Zealand ambassador to Jaguar and has designed a suit inspired by the car’s designer. For a limited time you’ll get a tailored version of the suit with every new Jaguar XF.

Giant Poppy Project a huge success

Artist Tony McNeight was the mastermind behind the creation of the largest poppy in the world. 59,000 red metal discs were placed by the public at the Auckland Domain, along with personal written messages forming an interactive commemoration for the 100th anniversary of Gallipoli.
